Emperor penguin feet

Their black, clawed feet are also webbed to help them when swimming but also help wen going about on land.
  Penguins feet are never allowed to get below freezing point, blood flow is finely adjusted so that they are kept just above. When it gets very cold, the feet are covered by the feathers and fat layer of the body (called the Brood pouch) so they are not exposed to cooling winds.

A chick with all-white plumage was found in 2001, but was not considered to be an albino as it did not have pink eyes.


How tall and How much do Emperor penguins weigh?

Emperor penguins are about 45 inches (114 cm) tall and weigh between 48 and 81 pounds (22-37 kg)!
The egg of the Emperor Penguin is 12 × 8 cm.

 Emperor Penguin facts/Antarctica facts
1. We have 4 seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. But in Antarctica, there are 2 seasons: a cold summer and a freezing winter!
2.There are about 40 colonies of emperor penguins in Antarctica.
3. The life span of an emperor penguin is 20 to 40 years.
4. Just like thumb prints, no penguins have the same sound!
5. Leopard seals, killer whales and skua birds are praetors to the emperor penguin.
6. Emperor penguins eat fish, krill (a small shrimp-like animal) and squid.
